Hoernsheimer Eck in Wetzlar

Our favorite spot because we are big fish lovers ... so in terms of food ... There is always a wonderful range of fish and seafood, but non-fish eaters are also catered for. Very friendly and cozy and always the best quality. However, you have to or should register, as it is a very small restaurant that is already heavily frequented by regular guests ... Absolute recommendation !!

Small but nice restaurant, clean and well-kept, friendly service and really good food for fish lovers :-) It is well known that the eye also eats and that is thought of in the kitchen :-) All fish dishes are served very nicely on the plate :-) Prices are a bit higher, but affordable, good fish is not cheap

A great visit to a restaurant consists of 3 parts: great service, nice atmosphere and delicious food. Everything is fulfilled at Vasili in Hörnsheimer Eck. Every guest, no matter if small child or adult, is showered with hospitality, the dishes are absolutely tasty and fresh and inside and outside you can sit very nicely.

Food, very good taste, but that the plate from 17.50 looked exactly like my anglerfish plate for 24.90, I personally found it a bit of a shame, there is a lot of space for garnishing. Service I expect more, demand whether it tastes, plates were cleared in a restaurant where we were the only guests after 10 minutes because the exchange with the colleague was more important. Too bad there is clearly more here if you want.

Ate a whole fish and it was delicious. Own garlic butter and fresh bread delicious, fish very good, salad good too. Friendly, cozy atmosphere. Dessert (chocolate soufflé) also great. Would go again if I ended up in Wetzlar.

Very good place for sea food.

I rarely give 5 stars. There are almost only fish dishes. Just 4 months ago, I would have passed a restaurant where there are no schnitzel. I almost died from my diet. In the meantime I have found out how one-sided I used to think. Today is January 12th and I only ate meat once a year. My fish platter today was totally delicious, the innkeepers were pleasant people and the restaurant was lovingly decorated. French fries are also unhealthy. Still, I miss her on the map. It is your own fault: "We will come again!"

Good food, the boss is very kind.

Surprise find, it's a seafood restaurant, mostly European fish. There is an English menu. I would say presume the fish is fried unless you ordered from the grilled section. Really good garlic butter and bread, fish was Dory John, was a flavorful piece. Salad is fine too, but I wish they left out iceberg lettuce and used more of the green peasprout like tendrils, commonly found in Germany and Switzerland, but haven't seen in the US. It's a cozy and elegant restaurant in the old town.

Specialty at fish. I ordered grilled fish plaster with 3 different kind of fish and prawn, serving with Greek salad and garlic bread. The fish is fresh and well grilled.
